About myself: I'm a writer, artist and academic. I live with my wife in South Korea. I've had work in THE PURITAN, ECLECTICA, THE BROOKLYN RAIL, THE KOREA TIMES, RABBLE, THIS MAGAZINE, THE CANADIAN FORUM, PRISM, THE QUARTERLY CONVERSATION and elsewhere. Academically, I've written on Thomas De Quincey, William Blake, Yoon Heung-gil and Richard Kim, and presented (in person or via Skype) to conferences in Helsinki, Kuala Lumpur, Osaka and Jember (Indonesia). I've won grants and awards for my work, and blog at  "Conversations in the Book Trade".
